That was so interesting, it was like an episode of derealization but also a way to ground oneself from flying off too high and being lost in their thoughts. I also love how chaotic the dialogue can be, how the heart gives mixed feedback because of anxiety while the stomach remains constant (hungry but constant). I also like the simplicity of the story and problem because the fear of not fitting in is so prevalent especially in teenagers where they're trying to find an identity for themselves, especially with a lack of support from peers and family.

I also like how slow the story is with the MC not even sure about themselves and fighting to believe both the heart and stomach. It truly is reminiscent of the time I couldn't find a proper label for myself that felt like it was me but not me at the same time, because acceptance from other people felt so important to me rather than acceptance for myself.

This was quite the reflective work~! I had fun parsing through it!

Really inventive way to use just the one sprite!

A fantastic way to use the limitations, I really enjoyed the message and the flow of this game! I think that the text was sometimes hard to read, and the camera could  have been a bit more polished, I think having it zoom out would have helped, but this was still such a great game!

im really glad you enjoyed! just to double check there isn’t a bug, do you mean having the camera zoom out further than it is at the start of the game or did the camera get stuck zoomed into a character?

i already told you this but it bears repeating, i lovvvvve how you played with the sprite limitations to have multiple characters. internal monologues really ARE like this, and it's lovely to see this in a VN. this was super sweet to play through. i picked cake! i hope you get cake soon <3

Thank you so much, I’m really glad you liked it! Hope you get cake soon also :D

Oh, this was incredibly lovely! 😭💕

I really connected to this a lot as someone who's... never felt comfortable in their skin for multiple reasons. AND ALSO IS ANXIOUS AS ALL GET OUT, TO BOOT??? So I related a lot to this little conversation of struggles and identity and just... not knowing what to do or how to fit in. I enjoyed that by the end, we'd gotten a little bit of our confident back from the heart-to-heart (teehee).

This was also just such a super unique way to make a VN?? It all very incredibly visceral somehow. Like it was taking place in our own brain. And the panning around to the different body parts or zooming out to view everything was very effective in like... giving this feeling of the opposing sides and the back-and-forth conversation. With everything pulsing the way it was, too, it felt very... internal. LOL. For lack of a better way to put it. I was reminded of this ride I went on at Disney World forever ago where you're like... inside the human body. That's the overarching vibe I got from this, from the BG, to the ambient and surreal music track, to the blip blip blips of the text.

The dialogue was also so amusing in some places, especially the meta moments where the organs would say something punny or funny. And I liked how you handled the bit with like... the anxiety coming in and screwing everything up and messing with things, because that's really what it feels like at times GOD. And you just can't do anything about it, but it makes every one of your senses act in ways they shouldn't.

Just a really lovely little experience overall. I enjoyed how unique and full of heart (teehee) it was and it left me with a lot of feels and thoughts 💕
